🌱 Our teaching approach

Through active, caring, and personalized teaching, we encourage each child to:

> Observe, experiment, and question the world around them,

> Develop independence, self-confidence, and creativity,

> Prepare calmly and solidly for entry into 1st Grade.

Kindergarten at Flos Learning Partner is much more than preparation for 1st Grade: it is a complete educational experience, where each child is supported in their natural curiosity and personal development.

🧩 How it works and support – Kindergarten

At Flos Learning Partner, the Kindergarten program is designed to promote a smooth transition to Junior High School. Even remotely, the child learns by exploring, handling, and developing skills through simple, guided, and playful activities, within a structured and reassuring learning framework.

📅 A progressive, well-paced program adapted to the child’s age

We provide a complete timetable, day by day and hour by hour, to guide daily organization. It is designed to offer short, varied sequences that respect the attention span of Kindergarten children, while ensuring clear continuity in learning.

All required resources are available via our course platform:

  • Downloadable timetables (.pdf)

  • Guided activities, printable worksheets, videos, and educational games

  • Assessment documents to submit online and have corrected by our teachers

✍️ Teaching materials and supplies

The proposed activities are based on simple printable resources, educational games, creative materials, and progress-tracking sheets.
A list of specific materials or supplies may be provided with the contract or during the year, depending on the themes covered (art, science, motor skills…).

👪 The family’s active role

In Kindergarten, support from an adult is essential. Families are encouraged to:

  • Supervise daily activities

  • Observe their child’s progress

  • Encourage hands-on activities, oral exchanges, quiet time, and educational games

We provide practical guides to help parents “teach” with confidence, without pressure.

📞 Individualized follow-up and regular contact

Each family is supported by one or more teachers, depending on the learning areas.

  • Educational check-ins may be offered during the year (by phone or short video call)

  • The teaching team remains available and responsive to answer questions or adjust the pace if needed

🎧 Caring corrections and feedback

Assessments are simple, illustrated, and must be scanned or photographed and then submitted via the platform.
Corrections are completed within a few days, and each feedback includes a personalized audio comment addressed to the child to strengthen motivation and understanding.

🎯 Structured learning in a caring environment

Our distance-learning Kindergarten program is designed to enable each child to:

  • Awaken their curiosity

  • Progress at their own pace

  • And prepare calmly for entry into 1st Grade

Do you still have questions or would you like to speak with us directly?
We offer two simple ways to contact us:

📚 Textbooks and supplies

No specific textbook is required at the time of enrollment.
All proposed activities are mainly based on teaching resources designed by the Flos Learning Partner team, to download or print from the platform.

If specific materials are required (creative supplies, educational games, fine motor skills materials…), a simplified list will be provided either:

> at the time of signing the contract,

> or during the year, depending on the projects carried out.

We ensure that the requested materials are easy to obtain, affordable, and suitable for home use.
The goal is to encourage hands-on learning, creativity, and independence without placing an undue burden on the family.

❓ Frequently asked questions

Do you have questions about how 1st Grade distance learning works? Find answers to the most frequent questions here to better understand our organization, our tools, and the support offered to families.

📌 From what age can my child follow the Kindergarten program?

The program is designed for children aged 5 to 6, with short, playful, and progressive activities. It respects their attention span and promotes learning through play, observation, and hands-on activities.

📌 Do we need to follow a specific timetable?

Yes. A structured timetable is provided, and it is important to follow it as much as possible, as it is designed to support learning in a logical and progressive order. This helps the child remain in a reassuring and consistent routine.

📌 Who supervises the child at home?

An adult (often one of the parents) is essential to support the child on a daily basis. This role involves organizing activity times, guiding hands-on work, reading instructions, and supporting exchanges. We provide clear guidance to help families feel comfortable in this support role.

📌 How is the work corrected?

Work must be submitted via the platform as a scan or photo. The teacher returns a correction within a few days, accompanied by a personalized audio comment, addressed directly to the child, to recognize their efforts and encourage them.

📌 Will my child have a reference teacher?

Each student may be supported by one or more teachers, depending on the learning areas (language, exploring the world, arts, etc.). A lead teacher is appointed to ensure overall, personalized follow-up throughout the year.
Occasional exchanges—by email, phone, or video call—may be offered to review progress, answer questions, or adjust support arrangements if necessary.

📌 Is this program suitable for children with special needs?

Yes. The program is flexible and can be adapted to the child’s specific needs. We can offer educational adjustments on a case-by-case basis, according to the family’s expressed needs.

📌 Are there opportunities to speak with the teachers?

Yes. Contact points may be offered at different times during the year to discuss the child’s progress, adjust activities, or simply get to know the teacher.
